Grace and Peace! My name is Lance, the founder of RESCUE. Let me tell you how all this began...
Over my years of ministering as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I found myself teaching my clients on a variety of topics session after session, client after client. Requests started coming in for me to teach groups, outside of my counseling office, on subjects such as communication in marriage, spiritual warfare, our identity as Children of God... I, myself, for years, was passionate about helping Christians understand the person of the Holy Spirit and the strategies of the Enemy in our lives.
In FALL 2014, I met with some folks I trusted to exchange ideas, and began to earnestly pray about how to meet the teaching requests I was receiving and what forum could exist for my passion to heal and equip Christians in keeping with Jesus' own ministry:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed" (Luke 4:18, ESV)
Over the next year, I received emails out of the blue by folks with prophetic words for me and to encourage me in my counseling ministry. Requests for me to teach continued to come in.
So, in SPRING 2016, RESCUE was launched after God gave me the final push during a quiet time with Him, leading me to Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..."
I commit to continue creating carefully researched material presented in easily accessible ways through RESCUE:LIVE! Teaching Events and a variety of media formats. I pray you find these efforts a blessing and that you recognize and cooperate with God in His efforts to rescue you and those you love and care about.
